At present, my country's plastic consumption ranks first in the world, but per capita consumption is only 1/7 of that of industrially developed countries and 1/4 of that of moderately industrialized developed countries. It shows the huge development space of my country's plastic industry and plastic mold industry.
At present, industries with strong demand for molds in my country include aerospace, defense and military industry, rail locomotives, construction machinery and other industries, especially the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail project with a total investment of 220 billion yuan, and the large aircraft project with an investment of more than 30 billion yuan. It will bring new challenges and opportunities to the plastic mold industry. Therefore, the development of my country's plastic mold industry must rely on national key construction projects to vigorously develop precision injection molds, cover molds and large injection molds; at the same time, by accelerating corporate mergers and reorganizations and product upgrading, narrowing the distance with developed countries, making my country The plastic mold industry continues to develop healthily.
The difference cannot be underestimated
In recent years, my country's plastic mold industry has developed rapidly, which shows that the technical content of products has been improving and the production cycle has been prolonged. However, compared with the advanced level of foreign plastic molds, there is still a big gap.
Take mold data and standard parts as an example. More than 80% of foreign die steel production is produced by vacuum refining and electroslag remelting, and the purity and isotropy of steel are high, while the share of domestic die steel produced by electroslag remelting is very small, about 1÷10. The yield of die steel in foreign developed countries is 85% to 90%, while the domestic yield is only 70%. The plastic mold steels listed in the national standard in my country are only 3Cr2Mo and 3Cr2MnNi鄄Mo. The plastic mold steel rarely used abroad has formed a relatively complete series. For example, the plastic mold steel in the United States has 7 steel grades, resulting in a complete P series; Japan's Hitachi Metals has 15 steel grades. my country's plastic mold steel is more casual, 80% of which use carbon steel and 40Cr steel. For complex and fine molds, in order to prevent thermal deformation, they are individually processed in annealed, normalized or quenched and tempered states, so the service life is only 1÷10~1÷2 of similar foreign molds. Most domestic automotive plastic mold companies are willing to choose three series of mold steels from Germany, Japan and Sweden. However, when purchasing European mold steel at home, the price is often 30% to 40% higher, which greatly affects the competitiveness of domestic molds.
At home and abroad, automobile molds have entered the stage of specialization and standardization. The basis of automobile molds is supplied by professional mold manufacturers, and the commercialization rate of molds is over 70%. There are also many enterprises specializing in the production of mold standard parts. There are hundreds of kinds, such as the standardization rate of German and Japanese molds can reach 85%. The standardization degree of large molds in domestic mold enterprises is about 25% to 30%. The degree of standardization of molds has become one of the bottlenecks restricting the production cycle of domestic molds, and it has also affected the competitiveness of domestic molds.
Let's take a look at the accuracy, life and mold making cycle of the mold. The precision of Japanese automobile molds can reach 0.02mm, and the precision of the parting surface of plastic molds is controlled at 0.01mm, while the precision of automobile molds of domestic brand enterprises of automobile molds is controlled at 0.03~0.05mm; The mold matching accuracy is about 0.03mm. Germany's mold production cycle is 2 weeks to 20 days, 4 to 5 days for material preparation, and 2 to 3 days for mold trial. The mold cycle of Japan and South Korea requires 2 weeks. The reason is that they have a special mold parts city, where sliders, ejectors, sprue sleeve components, etc. can be purchased. The standardization of domestic parts cannot be achieved, and the machining accuracy of some parts is also Not requested.
In terms of the overall quality of employees, the vast majority of employees in German and Japanese mold companies have graduated from college or have undergone special training, and have at least 10 years of task experience. The proportion of skilled personnel in mold companies is very high. At more than 50%, employees of many enterprises can often be replaced in technical and production positions. The employees of domestic mold enterprises lack the training of high-tech processing skills and the training of high-end CNC machine tool operation skills, which also affects the application rate of high-end equipment to a certain extent. The proportion of skilled personnel in mold enterprises is low, between 15% and 20% in most enterprises, and the comprehensive development ability is low.
